Hi,
Do you have any recommendations for a paediatrician in San Diego that is okay with not doing vaccines – they don’t necessarily have to encourage that, but are okay with the parents decision to go one way or the other. We have an ND, but I’m also looking for and experienced and progressive MD in San Diego as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, on second thought, the parentheses “adrenaline” serves nicely to provide a more commonly recognized term to a less-common term, hopefully bringing greater understanding of the concept to the mainstream.

I just came across this site and the your books. As a mom who did things this way and is now a grandmother enjoying seeing the same blessing passed down of breastfeeding and bonding, etc., I am thrilled to find your work in print!! I am now a midwife and want to pass this information on to the families I am envolved with and your work is a blessing!
One thing of interest to me as I read how the hormones “dance” in the mother and father and baby, is what happens with babies and grandparents!! There is something between my newborn granddaughter and myself that is very obvious and I think there is a hormonal happening there that has bonded us in a different way than with friends or even my own children (even though those bonds were healthy and strong). And, I wonder if part of that bonding is strong because of bonding so well with my own children? Well, maybe a project!
Debbie, thank you for writing, and congratulations. I believe that grandparent involvement has been a highly important factor in our human species survival, and the hormonal responses must be synced for this. Yes, I’m sure that what you say is true.
